Tunnel was written and recorded by Unique Chique in 2008 preceding the birth of my son Oli. Its an examination of the worry surrounding becoming a parent. Happy to report it turned out well and I ended up being pretty good at it. The song contains the very first intake of air by my newborn son as well as his heartbeat from a few weeks before he arrived.
It was recorded by myself and Ernie Lohrer at Downbeat Studios after hours when they very graciously threw us the keys and let us do record on our own. That is the "lost album" that is referred to here and all of its contents are currently being released here on my page, one track at a time, as they are located and reassembled. Theres very little remixing going on and no mastering. This music is as it was more than a decade ago. Millions of thanks to Mike Govaere and James Beesley III for letting us record so very long ago. Supporters are very very appreciated and will eventually receive a special edition of the compiled tracks in the near future.
